After looking down at St Paul’s Bay from the Acropolis in Lindos we were excited to be visiting for the day. We had tried to reserve sunlounges online but it wasn’t possible so we decided to arrive early and just hope for the best. We arrived at the beach at about 9am and there were already quite a few people there but it wasn’t too busy.

We walked down to the beach and although we were not able to get sun loungers on the front row it didn’t matter as they were all set up on different levels so you didn’t really notice anyone in front or behind you. Although they were very expensive to hire – about 60 euros for the four.

It really is the most spectacular beach – helped by the fact that the Acropolis is perched on the cliffs above it. The water is really calm and very clear. We stayed for the entire morning – by which stage we all felt that we had been out in the sun for a bit too long and were ready to head home.

Paddling in the water!
We spent the afternoon having some more pool time, were honored to have another visit from the peacocks and were treated to an amazing sunset!
