Today was the day Izzy was due to receive her GCSE results. They were released online at 8am but as we were in Greece it meant she would have to wait until 10am Greek time. We didn’t want to stay at home and wait so decided to head to the beach to pass the time.

Tsambika Beach was only 15 minutes from our villa and it was one of the best rated beaches on Rhodes so that is where we went. We arrived at about 9am and it was lovely and quiet so we picked a group of four sun loungers at the front and set ourselves up. It was a beautiful sandy beach surrounded by green forested cliffs. There was also a water park which Tom & Izzy were going to get tickets for later in the morning.

As 10am approached we had to get ready for the results. Izzy’s good luck charms had come with us – Puppybean, Teddy and Llama together with a stack of friendship bracelets from the Era’s Tour! These charms are so precious they had all travelled with us in the plane cabin as there was no way they were going in the hold!!!

Then at 10am Izzy could not get the online portal to update – probably because we were not on wi-fi. She had to wait for about 10 minutes before she could access her grades but when she did she had absolutely smashed them and done amazing! We could now enjoy the rest of the day.

We swam in the sea, Tom & Izzy visited the water park and we ordered the most amazing food and smoothies from the beach bar for lunch.
