For our second day we decided we would drive to Cologne, Germany which was two hours away. We found some underground parking and then headed to the Cathedral. We had a wander round but it was freezing outside!

We then walked to the river and found the Hohenzollern Bridge. It was a bridge covered in thousands of padlocks – we also found a geo-cache that was disguised in a padlock!

We walked along the river where Tom & Izzy found a little park with stepping stones and water features that they played in for a while and then made our way to the Lindt Chocolate Museum.

We enjoyed the chocolate museum as we learnt about the history of Lindt and how it was made but we felt they could have given us more chocolate. When you visit Cadburys they hand more chocolate to you in every room you visit!

We finished the afternoon by walking through some of the old streets and looking at the beautiful buildings.
