Dubai, UAE – Desert Safari and Road trip to Hatta Dam
Days 7 and 8 of our trip to the United Arab Emirates. We went on a desert safari to see a birds of prey demonstration and some wildlife. We also visited Hatta Dam
Dubai, UAE – Downtown Dubai (Aquarium, Burj Khalifa and Fountains)
Days 5 and 6 of our trip to the United Arab Emirates. We visited the aquarium, went to the top of the Burj Khalifa and spent a day in old Dubai
Dubai, UAE – Atlantis The Palm
Days 3 and 4 of our trip to the United Arab Emirates. We spent a night at Atlantis the Palm so that we could enjoy the waterpark before heading to downtown Dubai
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Days 1 & 2 of our holiday in the UAE. We flew to Dubai from Birmingham Airport and drove to Abu Dhabi where we visited Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and spent some time on the beach.
New York, USA – Bear Mountain State Park, Seven Lakes Drive and Fort Montgomery
A day trip from New Jersey to drive the Seven Lakes route and visit Bear Mountain State Park. We also walked along the Hudson River and climbed to Fort Montgomery where we watched a battle re-enactment
Plitvice National Park, Croatia
The final part of our summer holiday in Croatia. We did a day trip from Split to Plitvice National Park. We then spent the remainder of our holiday enjoying the beaches near our holiday home.
Split, Croatia – Omis and the Giant Inflatables
Part 8 of our summer holiday in Croatia. We stayed close to our holiday home in Podstrana and visited a nearby town called Omis. We had an amazing lunch and then spent the afternoon on the beach where Tom & Izzy played on the inflatable waterpark.

Part 6 of our summer holiday in Croatia. This was our first full day staying in Podstrana near Split. We visited The Diocletians Palace and explored the streets of the old town.
