The main reason we visited Kuala Lumpur was to see the Petronas Towers so for our final day in the city we booked tickets to go up to the viewing deck and see the exhibits. We were on the first tour of the day and were told the first stop of the tour was the bridge but our time was limited to ten minutes. At first we were a bit worried it would not be long enough but it was plenty of time and the tour timings were organised so well that there was lots of space for photos and to wander across the bridge.

Admiring the views!
We then took another lift upstairs to a higher viewing spot where there were lots of exhibits about the towers and models of Kuala Lumpur.

Our tour had finished by 10am so we went outside to explore the water fountains but it was ridiculously hot so we took some photos and headed back to the hotel for lunch.

The hotel was serving a Malay buffet and the food was so good – especially the deserts. They also gave us an amazing window table with views over the city.

A selection of the food at the buffet.

We then spent the afternoon in the hotel pool – which was absolutely freezing despite it being so hot outside before heading back to the Petronas Towers for the evening to watch the fountain show. We got caught in a massive thunderstorm so got drenched but still went to the mall afterwards to do a little bit of shopping and have a Cold Stone ice cream. It was not a late night as we had an early morning flight back to Singapore the following day.
