Welcome to our blog, following our family trips and holidays around the world. We live in Gloucestershire, UK but have also spent a year living in New Jersey, USA. We love using the school holidays to travel to new places and explore. Spending time with our two children, climbing mountains, splashing around in the sea on the coast or road tripping across Europe and the US. A day trip to Cologne from Middelbeers, Netherlands to visit the cathedral and the Lindt Chocolate Museum
Day 1 of our trip to Europe. We travelled from Calais to the Netherlands stopping in Ypres where we visited the In Flounders Fields Museum, the Menin Gate and Tyne Cot Cemetery.
The final part of our Iceland Roadtrip - spending a couple of days on the Snaefellsnes Peninsular and then returning to Keflavik for an evening at the Blue Lagoon
Exploring Northern Iceland and visiting waterfalls and geothermal areas. We did a Whale Watching trip out of Husavik and saw the Northern Lights again.
Travelling from Selfoss to the East Fjords spending 2 nights near the Jokulsarlon Lagoon. We also did a hike on Svinafellsjokull Glacier and visited Diamond Beach and Hofn.
During our stay on the South coast of Iceland we did a boat trip to Heimaey in the Westman Isles. We also drove into the highlands to visit the hot springs at Landmannalaugar

A day trip to Reykjavik to visit Hallgrimskirkja and the Settlement Museum
Part 1 of our trip around Iceland's Ring Road. We visited the Golden Circle - Geysir, Gullfoss and Pingvellir National Park. We also explored Kerid Crater and saw the Northern Lights twice.
