Welcome to our blog, following our family trips and holidays around the world. We live in Gloucestershire, UK but have also spent a year living in New Jersey, USA. We love using the school holidays to travel to new places and explore. Spending time with our two children, climbing mountains, splashing around in the sea on the coast or road tripping across Europe and the US. Making our way from Zion National Park to San Francisco, It was a 10 hour drive so we spent a night in Las Vegas at the Venetian and then spent a night in Bakersfield. We visited Calico Ghost Town on route.
After 4 nights in LA we drove to Vegas (partly along Route 66) for a couple of nights. We visited the main sights along the Strip and explored Red Rock Canyon State Park.
